As an intimate wedding photographer, I often look at airbnb listings for my couples and help them visualize their small wedding at some of these locations! These Florence area Airbnbs are perfect when looking for a place where your guests could stay with you, but the property is also equipped to host a ceremony, getting ready photos, and a fun space for a dinner! These are my 5 favorite properties in the Florence/Tuscany, Italy, area!
This property has so much character and feels like a Tuscan escape! I love the big arched windows for getting ready photos, a small gazebo for a first look or to spend some time together soaking in the “just married” feeling. There’s space for a ceremony looking over the hills and plenty of patio space for a small dinner with your guests. Since its close to Florence, you can venture into the city for formal portraits or get fresh flowers for your wedding!
This Villa is situated in the top of a vineyard and has beautiful modern touches that make your stay comfortable! It has a beautiful courtyard that could be used for a first look location or as a location to share a meal and dance floor with your guests. Unlike a lot of European stays, this place has updated bedrooms so every room is easily photogenic!
There are plenty of rooms for your guests to stay on site so you can celebrate with them for the whole weekend! The listing shows that there have been previous weddings here so the space is equipped to host yours! There’s also a beautiful kitchen, lovely outdoor space, and multiple balcony/patio spaces to have dinner, a first look, or dancing!
This castle is so pretty! Complete with classic medieval windows to a modern pool, this definitely makes a statement! The courtyard is to die for with its pointy arches where you can set up an outdoor reception area. There’s a chapel on the property if you’re interested in a religious element to your ceremony and you’re surrounded by castle views and vineyards. The interior is still bright and photogenic, but screams medieval castle with vast halls and a library!
This beautiful vineyard has the perfect set up for an intimate wedding! There’s a winery, space to set up tables, and many social spaces for dinner, dancing, and talking to your guests! They’ve hosted weddings before and are able to accommodate larger groups. The interior is a little dark, but overall the aesthetic is very tuscan and the yellow exterior gives a different feel from the classic rocky houses you typically come across.

All of the venues are stunning but I’d have to say that getting married in a castle in Italy is my top choice. ❤️ Thanks for such an informative blog!
What a sweet list, I can tell you put so much thought into this. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of these options!
